Currently in Spain, only 141% of companies have a robust cybersecurity infrastructure, and this is because only 38% of business owners consider the risk of suffering a cyberattack. (Hiscox Cyber Preparedness Report 2020)<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, the market speaks for itself. According to IBM data, cyberattacks have increased by 125% in Europe and by 40% globally.<\/p>\n

Cybercriminals are targeting the 72% of Spanish companies that lack the necessary security measures to manage their online operations in a completely technological era.<\/p>\n

The figures show that the pandemic has made not only individuals more vulnerable, but also businesses. Today, these businesses face a significant increase in cyber threats.<\/p>\n

The presence of a dark and illicit world is evident in the cyber environment, putting companies and their assets at risk.<\/p>\n

Investing in cybersecurity makes sense, considering that Spanish companies allocate around 14.931% of their IT budget to cybersecurity and over 301% to recovering from cyber incidents. This doesn't even take into account that companies report average losses of around \u20ac80,000 after a cyberattack, and many are forced to close.<\/p>\n

Awakening to a new reality<\/h4>\n

Given the current situation, there are companies that are working hard to equip the field of cybersecurity with artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n

This initiative responds to the need for companies to defend themselves against a new and more aggressive generation of cyberattacks.<\/p>\n

Advances in cloud computing, the Internet of Things (IoT), 5G, and conversational interface technologies have generated a growing number of end-user devices, networks, and user interfaces.<\/p>\n

We confirmed this through executives, who stated that their cybersecurity analysts are overwhelmed by the immense volume of information they must monitor. Furthermore, there is an increase in the number of incidents and the type of automated attacks, which are evolving rapidly and preventing them from being neutralized by traditional response systems.<\/p>\n

All signs point to organizations facing an urgent need to expand and continuously improve their cybersecurity systems. Because it's better to be safe than sorry!<\/p>\n

Companies are aware that they cannot entrust their future to solutions that are unable to react immediately to the constant and growing attacks that threaten them.<\/p>\n
